Lodestone Recruitment are currently working in partnership with our client in Sheffield who have a requirement for a Burner. Our clients specialises in various castings for a range of sectors including Aerospace, Defence and Rail.
Candidates should have the following experience to be considered for the role:
- Experience of using oxy-propane, burning gun and oxy lance.
- Clean/burn all scrap off of castings including feeder heads, padding and runner systems.
- Lancing ladles to open when casting.
- Ideally have licences such as Crane or similar
The offer for the role of Burner:
- A salary of £28-29k/annum
- Hours - 6am-2pm Monday to Thursday, 6am-11am Friday
- 12 week temp to permanent position
- Pension
- Regular overtime available
