We are currently recruiting for a local manufacturing business based in Sheffield who have doubled in size over the last few years. Our client are looking to expand their team with the addition of a CAD Engineer. Ideally they are looking for candidates who have of using AutoCAD.

Main duties/responsibilities:
- Proven experience in design for medium to heavy sectors with a focus on laser profiled or fabrication parts.
- Experience in 2D and 3D AutoCAD
- Experience in the preparation of technical documentation, including design reports, manuals, and bills of materials (BOMs), method statements and risk assessments.
- Conduct design reviews and incorporate feedback to improve product performance and reliability.
You will have:
- Ideally apprentice trained and/or have a HND or degree in Mechanical Engineering, Product Design or similar.
- Ideally at least 5 years or more experience as a Design Engineer.
- Excellent problem-solving, analytical, and technical skills.
