CNC Turner

Lodestone Recruitment are currently recruiting for an experienced CNC Turner for our client in Rotherham. This is an excellent opportunity to join a well-established precision engineering business offering long-term stability and strong earning potential.

They require candidates who:

• Apprentice trained CNC Turner
• Must be able to Programme, set and operate using Fanuc based controls on the machine
• Producing high-quality machined components to tight tolerances
• Worked on parts for medium to heavy including Marine, Aerospace, Construction, Oil and Gas, Defence, Subsea etc.
• Experience in one-offs or small batch runs
• Maintaining productivity and quality standards
• Ideally have some knowledge of CAM software (advantageous but not essential)

Salary & Benefits

• Salary: £31-33k (depending on experience £16.20-17.07/hr)
• Productivity Bonus: Approx. £4.00 per hour saved (avg. 4–5 hours/week)
• Good amount of overtime: Paid at time + ½ after 37 hours
• Holidays: 25 days + stats
• Pension: 3% employer contribution (increasing with service)
• Sick Pay: Up to 26 weeks (full and half pay structure)
• Regular days - Monday to Thursday 8am-4:30pm, Friday 8am-1pm (37 hour week)
