Document Controller Opportunity

Lodestone Recruitment is currently working with a well-established company based in Wigan, who is currently seeking an experienced Document Controller to join their team.

Role Overview:

Due to growth in the business, the company is looking to recruit an experienced document controller to join the QA team. You’ll be working closely with the current document controller, quality engineering and project managers to ensure that shopfloor documentation and manufacturing record books are produced in-line with deadlines, complete, and checked. The successful candidate will be methodical and organised, with a good attention to detail, and excellent communication skills.

This role involves plating, fabricating, and welding structural steel components to engineering drawings while maintaining high quality and safety standards.

Key Responsibilities:

• Compiling and submitting Customer MRBs – Manufacturing Record Books, ensuring that all documents are included, and they have been reviewed for completeness and acceptability. Responding to MRB comments in good time.
• Producing ‘Travellers’ – shopfloor documentation packs. Uploading information into customer portals.
• Managing documents received in the company’s document control email address e.g. forwarding revised drawings to the relevant project manager.
• Organising transportation, producing delivery notes. Drafting ITP – Inspection Test Plans.
• Submitting NOI – Notice of Inspections to customers, as required. Produce stencilling and masking.
• Ordering Stationary/PPE

Pay & Shift Details:

• 39 Hour Working Week
• Monday - Thursday 08:00 to 16:30, Friday 08:00 to 15:30
• £28K - £34K per Annum (DOE)
