Lodestone Recruitment are looking for an experienced Fettler or Finishing Operative for our client in Sheffield. Due to continued growth, this is a fantastic opportunity to join a growing organisation that has won some big projects and invested in various new equipment and technology.

Our client is interested in candidates who have the following:

• Ideally have experience of fettling and grinding fabricated and welded steel for structural steel projects, M.O.D, Nuclear or Oil and Gas sectors or similar.
• Experience of using hand tools such as grinders, burrs, abrasive belts.
• Ability to level and fabricate would be beneficial or semi-skilled tacking up of parts.
• Checking dimensions of components and using measuring equipment such as micrometers, verniers, calipers or depth gauges.

The successful Fettler will receive the following:

• A salary of £29-31k/annum (£15-16/hr)
• Permanent position from day one
• Monday to Friday - 7:30am-3:30pm (37.5 hour week)
• Overtime available
