Finishing Operative

Lodestone Recruitment are looking for an experienced Finishing Operative or Fettler for our client in the Rotherham area. Due to continued growth, this is a fantastic opportunity for join a forward-thinking company.

What We Are Looking For

Our client is interested in candidates who have the following:

• Ideally have experience of fine finishing, fettling and grinding castings for Aerospace, M.O.D or Oil and Gas sectors or similar.
• Experience of using hand tools such as pencil grinders, burrs, abrasive belts or have previously done Mount Point work.
• Experience in working with castings and removing defects.
• Experience of working with small hand tools and pencil grinders.
• Checking dimensions of components and using measuring equipment such as micrometers, verniers, calipers or depth gauges.
• Working to tight tolerances.

• A salary of £30,500/annum (rate inclusive of shift allowance)

Hours: Rotational Shifts - Mornings/Afternoons/Nights Monday to Friday 6am-2pm/2pm-10pm/10pm-6am
