Industrial Paint Sprayer

Lodestone Recruitment are currently recruiting for an experienced Industrial Paint Sprayer to join a well-established heavy engineering business in the Wigan area

This role will involve working on large-scale fabricated components and structures, ensuring high-quality coating application in line with industry standards.

Key Responsibilities

• Prepare and spray industrial components using wet and airless spraying techniques
• Apply coatings including single and two-pack epoxy, polyurethane, primers, and base coats
• Carry out masking and surface preparation to a high standard
• Work within a blast room and industrial environment
• Ensure all work meets required quality standards and specifications

Requirements

• Proven experience as an Industrial Paint Sprayer within heavy engineering or manufacturing
• Experience working on large structures, tankers, or similar components
• Strong knowledge of industrial coatings and application processes
• Ability to work to tight tolerances and specifications
• Experience using wet spray and airless spraying equipment
• Background in structural steel, heavy engineering industry or similar

• Salary £36k
• Monday to Friday days (6:45am-3:15pm Monday to Thursday, 6:45am-2:15pm Friday)
• 39-hour working week
• Ongoing contract role
• Immediate start available
