Lodestone Recruitment are working in partnership with our client in the Bradford area who have a requirement looking for a Manual or Coventional Machinist who has experience in Manual Milling or Horizontal Boring. Due to continued growth, this is a fantastic opportunity for someone to build a career in a well-established company in the area.

What We Are Looking For

Our client is interested in candidates who have the following:

• Ideally be apprentice trained as a Manual Machinist
• Must have operated a Manual Horizontal Borer or Manual Milling machines 
• Ideally used machines such as a Kearns Richards or Scharmann Horizontal Borer.
• Ideally have experience in Automotive, Oil and Gas, Aerospace or similar sectors.
• Experience of precision machining and work on small batches or one offs.
• Any experience in the manufacture of gears, shafts and gearbox components would be favourable.

What Do You Get?

The successful Manual Miller will receive the following:

• A salary of £31-32k/annum + overtime paid at T1/2
• Regular days - Monday - Thurs 7:30am - 4:30pm, Friday 7:30am - 12:30pm (39 hour week)
• Overtime available and paid at T1/2
• Permanent position from day one
