We’re recruiting on behalf of a specialist subcontract manufacturing company in Sheffield who work on exciting projects within highly regulated sectors such as nuclear and defence.

What you’ll be doing:

• Reading and interpreting complex engineering drawings.
• Fabricating and plating heavy engineering components to tight tolerances.
• Working on projects across nuclear, defence, and other high-spec industries.
• Ensuring all work meets quality and safety standards.

What we’re looking for:

• Proven plating experience within a heavy engineering environment.
• Strong fabrication skills and ability to work to detailed technical drawings.
• A proactive approach to quality and health & safety.
• Experience in nuclear/defence sectors is advantageous but not essential.
