Quality Inspector

Are you an experienced Quality Inspector with a background in precision machining? Do you want to join a well-established and respected engineering business in Bradford, offering stability, progression, and excellent working hours?

Lodestone Recruitment is proud to be working with our trusted client, who are looking to strengthen their Quality team with a skilled inspector.

• Salary: £32,500 per year
• Occasional overtime available at 1.5x
• Regular days: Mon–Thu 7am–4pm, Fri 7am–12pm (39 hrs/week)
• 25 days holiday + bank holidays

As a Quality Inspector, you will:

• Carry out first-off, in-process, and final inspections on precision machined components
• Use a range of gauges including verniers, calipers, and micrometers
• Operate CMMs (Mitutoyo, Faro Arm, Aberlink or similar) — training available if required
• Complete inspection documentation accurately and efficiently
• Perform NDT including MPI and ultrasonic testing



To succeed in this role, you will ideally:

• Be apprentice-trained or time-served in machining (CNC or manual)
• Have strong experience in dimensional inspection using hand-held gauges
• Have CMM operating/programming knowledge (or be willing to train)
• Be confident working to tight tolerances within a precision engineering environment
