We’re now looking for a driven and confident individual to join our team as a Trainee Recruitment Consultant. You’ll work closely with our Director, who brings over a decade of industry experience — giving you hands-on mentorship and the chance to build a successful recruitment career from the ground up.

What You’ll Be Doing
- Conduct outbound sales (including cold calling) and identify new business opportunities.
- Proactively engage with potential clients and candidates through multiple platforms.
- Build and nurture strong relationships, becoming the go-to recruiter in your market.
- Manage the full recruitment process — from initial contact to job offer and placement.
- Prepare costings, proposals, and quotations for clients.
- Maintain up-to-date and accurate CRM records.
- Meet and exceed weekly/monthly activity and revenue goals.
- Stay up-to-date on sector trends, industry insights, and recruitment legislation.
- Attend networking events and build your personal brand via social media.
What We’re Looking For
- Confident, self-starting, and proactive attitude.
- A genuine interest in recruitment and/or the engineering/manufacturing sectors.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Eagerness to learn — full training will be provided.
- Highly organised with attention to detail.
- Comfortable using IT systems and open to new technology.
- Ambition to grow and take on more responsibility as we scale.
What You’ll Receive

- Salary: £23,000 to £28,000 depending on experience (after probation).
- 37 days holiday:
- 25 days annual leave
- 8 bank holidays
- Your birthday off
- 3 extra days off over Christmas
- Working hours:
- Monday–Thursday: 8:30am–5:00pm
- Friday: 8:30am–2:00pm (early finish!)
