We’re now looking for a driven and confident individual to join our team as a Trainee Recruitment Consultant. You’ll work closely with our Director, who brings over a decade of industry experience — giving you hands-on mentorship and the chance to build a successful recruitment career from the ground up.

What You’ll Be Doing

• Conduct outbound sales (including cold calling) and identify new business opportunities.
• Proactively engage with potential clients and candidates through multiple platforms.
• Build and nurture strong relationships, becoming the go-to recruiter in your market.
• Manage the full recruitment process — from initial contact to job offer and placement.
• Prepare costings, proposals, and quotations for clients.
• Maintain up-to-date and accurate CRM records.
• Meet and exceed weekly/monthly activity and revenue goals.
• Stay up-to-date on sector trends, industry insights, and recruitment legislation.
• Attend networking events and build your personal brand via social media.

What We’re Looking For

• Confident, self-starting, and proactive attitude.
• A genuine interest in recruitment and/or the engineering/manufacturing sectors.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Eagerness to learn — full training will be provided.
• Highly organised with attention to detail.
• Comfortable using IT systems and open to new technology.
• Ambition to grow and take on more responsibility as we scale.

• Salary: £23,000 to £28,000 depending on experience (after probation).
• 37 days holiday:
• 25 days annual leave
• 8 bank holidays
• Your birthday off
• 3 extra days off over Christmas
• Working hours:
• Monday–Thursday: 8:30am–5:00pm
• Friday: 8:30am–2:00pm (early finish!)
