Lodestone Recruitment are currently working in partnership with our client in Sheffield who have a requirement for a Welding Engineer. The company are well respected and established business in their field and have had large amounts of growth in the last few years.
Candidates should have the following experience to be considered for the role:
- Be qualified as a Welding Engineer and hold IWE, EWE or IWT qualification.
- Have worked in sectors such as Defence, Oil and Gas, Nuclear, Aerospace or similar.
- Developing welding techniques, procedures, and application of welding equipment to the production process and contract requirements.
- Have responsibility for production and control of documentation relating to the welding process, including population of weld and NDE logs.
- Writing up of Non-conformances – reporting, correcting and investigation.
- Responsible for carrying out validation checks in relation to ISO accreditations, including welding consumable control and equipment calibrations.
- Salary - up to £60-80k DOE
- Regular days
- Permanent position
- Holidays - 25 days plus stats
- Excellent pension - 10% contribution from company/5% employee
